My family celebrates many holidays. One of them is Christmas. I love to celebrate Christmas because I love to give people gifts. Giving and seeing a smile on people's faces make me so happy. If I didn't get presents, I wouldn't care because Christmas is supposed to about love. My mom is always the first one awake. She wakes up at 4 a.m, but I wake up around 8 a.m. I think she gets more excited then I do!
Another holiday we celebrate is Thanksgiving. Before we moved, we would have all of my dad's side of the family come over. Ever since I moved, It has just been my mom, dad, brother, and me. It has been a little boring but it's better than having no family at all. We usually play cards and watch football. We don't have a specific team that we watch, but we just like to spend as much time together as we can.
One more holiday my family celebrates is New Years Eve. My family and I go to a hotel with my best friend from my old school. The hotel is really nice, and once we get settled in, we go out to eat. We usually go to a pizza place, then after we play cards and games. My friend and I go swimming and then we open Christmas presents since we can't be with each other for Christmas. Our families have lots of fun and we love to do this every year.
Hi Marissa! I liked how you wrote about more than one holiday and went into detail. My favorite holidays are also Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve. My favorite thing about the holidays is spending time with my family.

DeleteHi, Marissa. This was a great blog. The way that you went into specific detail was amazing. For my family it is the exact opposite. Me and my siblings get up early and my parents always try to sleep in. Some how we get them up by being so annoying they give up.

yep! I would suggest clothes, scrunchies, and a hydro flask. I think that the best bet would also to get them a Visa gift card so they can go anywhere to get anything.
